Empowering Youth to Create with IT/AI

IT & Generative AI Workshops

Executive Summary of the Project

Project Overview: As AI technologies emerge as the epicenter of the future, young people often find themselves relegated to the margins, merely as consumers rather than active participants. This project seeks to reverse the equation, empowering youth to contribute with their creative solutions based on the cutting-edge IT and AI technologies. We empower youth to channel the energy currently spent on social media consumption—which often has negative health implications—into productive tech design and creation.
Our offer: Eden-Well offers a unique lineup of fun, hands-on workshops designed to spark creativity and teach practical, cutting-edge IT and AI skills among youth aged 13–25. From building your own mobile app, to exploring 3D animation, or using generative AI to create an app or an animated story, these workshops are accessible to all—no prior experience required. Just bring your curiosity (and a laptop), and leave with a finished project and a sense of empowerment.

AI Image Prompting: Turn Words into Worlds 🎨🤖
    (Laptop needed) [French]

In this hands-on workshop, participants will discover how to create stunning images using AI — just by writing the right prompts. We’ll break down the fundamentals of AI image prompting in a simple, playful way: how to describe a scene, choose a visual style, control mood and perspective, and avoid common mistakes.

Through short creative drills, participants will learn how small changes in wording can completely transform an image. We’ll explore fun examples (cute, epic, absurd, cinematic) and build practical experience they can reuse for school projects, creative hobbies, or just for fun.

To wrap up the session, we’ll host a mini prompt battle 🎯: everyone gets the same surprise theme, one prompt, one image — and the group votes for the most creative result. Expect laughs, surprises, and lots of imagination! No prior AI, coding, or design experience is needed!

GenAI Tutorial: Build a YouTube Research Agent using Slash Commands ▶️🤖
    (Laptop needed) [French]

In this workshop, you will learn how to automate YouTube content research in just 15 minutes using only GenAI tools (no coding required). Instead of manually browsing channels, you’ll set up a simple command that fetches recent videos (titles, views, links) from any channel, then organizes the results into clear insights about what content performs best.

The process involves lightweight tools like yt-dlp (avoiding the need for API keys) and defining the command’s behavior. By the end, you’ll see how automation can help creators and students analyze trends, compare multiple channels, and structure findings in markdown—freeing up time for creativity while sharpening strategy.

AI-Powered Animation Creation (Laptop needed) [French]
This is a collaborative experience with all the participants, so the number of spots are limited! In this workshop, the youth will write a story by feeding the characters and basic elements of the narrative into AI. Then the youth will create images from the story: either by using text-to-image AI tools, or by breathing life into your simple (paper) sketches by using AI tools to add details and beautiful colors. Using another set of tools, we will generate animations/video based on the storyline and the generated images from the previous step. Finally, we will generate some voice-over to complete the animation making experience!
