AWAKENING
Developing personal leadership skills such as strategic thinking and learning, decision making, goal setting and achievement, and time management are significant factor for young people to succeed. On top of that, adolescents need to learn how to deal with uncertainties, failures, stress, loneliness, rejections, bullying, etc. Their situation is aggravated by the impact of pandemic. A panel discussion on the impacts of the pandemic on adolescent mental health in 2020, hosted by UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO), brought to light that the Covid-19 lockdown had affected the mental health of some 40% of teenagers. So there is a clear need to redesign leadership programs that incorporate social-emotional learning.

Eden-Well is a youth empowerment organization that seeks to cost-effectively empower young people to discover their purpose and develop personal leadership skills and strategies to overcome challenges and pitfalls through resilience and mental fortitude to realize their highest potentials and dreams in this ever-changing world.

We believe that personal leadership skills development that incorporates social-emotional learning, such as tools and strategies to deal with uncertainties, failures, stress, loneliness, rejections, bullying, etc., should be an integral part of every young person’s education.
We aim to challenge the barriers young people face in assessing quality leadership programs that incorporate a higher degree of emotional intelligence, in order to help develop the next generation of leaders for the 21st century.
